About the Role
Applications for the 2024-2025 NAESC Executive Board are due by Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST. If you submit your application after this due date it is not guaranteed that all members will receive your application information. The Executive Vice President shall have the following responsibilities:
a. To coordinate the responsibilities, duties and activities of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
b. To serve as a Student Director, and faithfully execute all the fiduciary duties required of the NAESC, Inc. Board of Directors.
c. To record the proceedings of all Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors meetings and distribute them publicly within three (3) working days. The Executive Vice President shall also serve as Secretary for the Board of Directors.
d. To understand the Operating Manual for each position, and ensure the manuals are complete and up-to-date by consulting with each ELT member during winter break.
e. To facilitate the creation of the Annual Report by collecting contributions from each ELT member. The Annual Report will be published before the end of the term.
f. To read and master all information from the previous two years’ Annual Reports.
g. To manage any NAESC, Inc. document repositories and archives.
h. To distribute the latest version of the NAESC, Inc. Constitution, Bylaws, Statutes, and any other internal documentation within on week to anyone that requests the documents.
i. To compile and archive contact information of all NAESC, Inc. directors and officers.
j. To enforce Chapters 04, 10, and 12 of the NAESC, Inc. Statutes.
