What to Expect

The National Association of Engineering Student Council Engineering Leadership Summit (ELS) 2023 will be hosted by the University of Pittsburgh's Engineering Student Council! This conference will take place on Friday, March 24th and Saturday, March 25th on the University of Pittsburgh campus. Check-in will be on Thursday, March 23rd. We are ecstatic to be bringing back our first in-person Engineering Leadership Summit and can't wait to see some familiar faces and meet some new NAESC members! The University of Pittsburgh is planning some fantastic events including an Industry Luncheon, Campus Tour, and of course several insightful Council Chats to build and share your council's experiences. Keep an eye on the email you provided at registration to receive more details on this conference!

Flying to Pittsburgh

If your council plans to fly into Pittsburgh, please ensure that you fly into the Pittsburgh International Airport and are scheduled to land by 7:00pm at the latest. If you do not schedule your flight to this airport and to land by this time, University of Pittsburgh will be unable to coordinate shuttle service from the airport

A Welcome Letter

Hello NAESC members!

My name is Lily Coss, and as NAESC Vice President of Conferences, I am happy to invite you to the NAESC Engineering Leadership Summit 2023. This is an incredibly impactful conference as it is the first in-person national conference we have seen since 2019! We want to welcome each of you and invite you to register your council for this amazing experience. We are looking forward to sharing a great conference experience with you!

The Engineering Leadership Summit hosts NAESC members from our five NAESC regions; Southeast, North Atlantic, Midwest, Central, and West. Each of these regions has a unique identity in NAESC and we are beyond excited for a conference that encapsulates them all!

Southeast Region

North Atlantic Region

Midwest Region

Central Region

West Region

The goal of this conference, and all NAESC conferences, is to bring engineering student council members together in a collaborative setting to network, develop professional skills, and discuss relevant topics such as freshmen involvement, funding, DEI, K-12 outreach, and much more within their council. In addition to networking with peers, NAESC conferences provide an opportunity to connect with professionals through industry events and keynote speakers. There will be a wide variety of activities and events that will add to your professional development and collegiate leadership journey.

Whether this is your first NAESC conference or you have been to several over your collegiate career, we cannot wait to see you at the University of Pittsburgh in March! We hope you have an amazing experience and take home some great ideas to your council.

Best,

Lily Coss
