About the Engineering Leadership Summit
This year, ELS will be taking place on virtually March 26-27. The conference will be slightly shorter than previous years and sticking to the basics, including VDM, Council Chats, and a competition. We are shortening the schedule up mostly to prevent the infamous Zoom Burnout. A schedule of the days' events is attached below. Registration for ELS is currently open through GEAR and will be due on March 1. Due to the virtual format, we are only charging $15/person to attend. If you are unable to pay by PayPal, please send one check for all members of your council to: National Association of Engineering Student Councils 2196 Third Ave #78269, New York, NY 10035. We can't wait to see all of you there!
Additionally, NAESC is currently looking for host schools for the Midwest, Central, and North Atlantic 2022 Regional Conferences, as well as the 2023 ELS Conference. Hosting a conference is a great way to promote your school's engineering program and can serve as a phenomenal leadership development opportunity. If your school is interested in hosting, please submit a bid using the attached documents by Friday, March 11. We will review conference bids at National VDM during ELS.
If you have any questions surrounding the upcoming Engineering Leadership Summit, conference registration, and/or the bidding process, please do not hesitate to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
